Corrections

Our policy

When we get something wrong, we say so. Corrections appear at the top of the affected piece, dated, with a clear explanation of what was changed and why. We do not silently edit the historical record.

Tiers

  • Typo and formatting fixes — no notice required
  • Factual corrections — dated correction notice appears at the top of the piece
  • Material corrections affecting interpretation — dated correction notice at the top of the piece AND a permanent footnote in the article body
  • Retractions — the original text is preserved and lined through; a retraction notice replaces the piece with full explanation

Reporting a correction

If you spot an error in our reporting, please write to corrections@tradewindsbrief.com.

Useful information to include:

  • The URL of the piece
  • The specific passage you believe is incorrect
  • The correct information, with a source where possible

We aim to respond to correction requests within 48 hours.

Recent corrections

When corrections are issued, they will be logged here with the date and piece. As of this writing, no corrections have been issued since the May 2026 launch of the current publication.
