Ask the Editorial Team
Submit a question about the Caribbean or diaspora life abroad. We select questions that help explain the forces shaping the region.
We are opening a structured submissions process for reader questions in the coming weeks. The aim is not to run a comments section or a public forum. The aim is to identify the questions that recur across the diaspora — the questions that family conversations and group chats keep returning to — and to address them through serious editorial explainers.
If you have a question you would like to see addressed, you can send it through our standard editorial contact for now. We are particularly interested in questions about:
- economic conditions and household costs across the region
- migration patterns and policy shifts affecting Caribbean nationals abroad
- regional institutions and how they actually function in practice
- climate exposure and its growing economic weight on small island states
- security, governance, and the everyday consequences of policy decisions
We will publish a formal submissions form once the editorial cadence around this feature is settled. In the meantime, the questions we receive directly will inform the explainers we research and publish under Questions From the Diaspora.
