Bahamas Budget Sets Aside $51.5M for Clinics, Docks and Drainage in New Capital Push

The government has allocated $51.5 million in the upcoming budget year to begin new capital projects, including healthcare facilities, bridge and dock repairs, drainage improvements and national-security upgrades. Officials say more than $340 million in projects are planned over the coming years. The spread across the Family Islands and New Providence is meant to address long-standing infrastructure gaps.
