Barbados is advancing its renewable-energy transition with Canadian support on battery storage and grid integration, alongside a broader Canada–CARICOM climate-finance track that includes a roughly US$97 million blended fund. Prime Minister Mia Mottley’s government continues to pair domestic decarbonisation with its Bridgetown push to make climate money cheaper for small states.
