Grenada Levera Wetlands restoration advances as Mitchell joins Caribbean Investment Summit

A mangrove-reforestation and boardwalk reconstruction project is advancing at the Levera Wetlands, which sustained significant damage in recent storms, according to NOW Grenada. The works are part of broader coastal-resilience efforts on Grenada’s northeast coast.

Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell took part in the Caribbean Investment Summit 2026 (CIS26) in St Lucia from May 6–9, joining fellow Caribbean heads of government — including St Lucia PM Philip J Pierre, Antigua and Barbuda PM Gaston Browne, Dominica PM Roosevelt Skerrit, and St Kitts and Nevis PM Terrance Drew — to discuss regulatory convergence and the future of Citizenship by Investment programmes across the region.

Separately, court offices across Grenada will pause cashing services on Wednesday, May 13, for an internal operational change — worth flagging for anyone with payments scheduled.

For the diaspora: the CBI conversation is the one to track; tighter regulatory convergence between Grenada, Dominica and Antigua’s programmes will reshape what diaspora investors and second-passport applicants can expect through 2026–2027.
