Two years after Hurricane Beryl devastated Carriacou and Petite Martinique, roughly 78 percent of damaged roofs have been restored and about 90 percent of affected businesses are back in operation, according to recovery figures. The rebuild has drawn support from government and international partners.

The milestone lands as forecasters warn of an active season ahead, keeping resilience front of mind. For Grenadians abroad who have contributed to recovery efforts, the progress marks steady, if incomplete, return to normal life on the sister isles.
