Grenada’s inaugural Diaspora Homecoming 2026 winds down on July 5 with a concert at the Grenada Trade Centre, capping a programme Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell has cast as a deliberate move beyond remittances toward integrating nationals abroad into national development. The government wants the diaspora’s skills, networks and capital treated as full partners over a 25-year horizon. It is a template other Caribbean states courting their diasporas will be watching.
