Caribbean Airlines Adds Daily Toronto–Georgetown Flights, Easing the Canada–Guyana Run from July 1
Caribbean Airlines will begin daily non-stop service between Toronto and Georgetown from July 1, a schedule upgrade aimed squarely at one of the busiest diaspora corridors in the hemisphere. For Guyanese in the Greater Toronto Area, the move means more predictable connections for family visits, remittance-linked travel, and the summer return season, rather than routing through Trinidad or US hubs.
The expansion lands as Guyana’s wider travel infrastructure scales up alongside record oil output and a heavier calendar of cultural and business events. Daily frequency also tends to ease fare volatility on peak dates, though travelers should still book early around July and the December festivals.
What this means for you: if you fly the Canada–Guyana route, daily service widens your options and may soften last-minute pricing, but holiday-period seats will still go quickly.
