UAE opens visa-on-arrival to Kenyans holding US or EU visas
The United Arab Emirates has introduced visa-on-arrival access for Kenyan passport holders who already hold a valid US or comparable visa, a change that took effect June 25 and is expected to ease travel for Kenyan professionals, students and businesspeople moving between Africa, the Gulf and the West. The measure does not extend to all Kenyan citizens, so the practical benefit is concentrated among those already cleared by a major economy. It is a small but concrete loosening at a time when several Western visa pathways for African travellers are tightening.
