St Kitts Loses AfriCaribbean Trade Forum as July Event Is Called Off

The African Export-Import Bank and the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis have announced that the fifth AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum, set for July 29-31 in Basseterre, will no longer take place as scheduled. Organisers did not tie the change to any single cause in the announcement.

The forum has been a marquee platform for Africa-Caribbean commerce, and its postponement is a setback for that agenda in the near term. Diaspora businesses tracking cross-continental trade should watch for a rescheduled date and venue.
