Vincy Mas Jump-Up Fills Kingstown Streets for Carnival Monday

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is in the heart of Vincy Mas, with the carnival’s Jump-Up days falling on July 6 and 7 and Kingstown filling with revellers, bands and calypso. Authorities have paired the festivities with public-safety campaigns, including a road-safety drive for the season.

Billed as one of the region’s hottest carnivals, Vincy Mas is a major draw for the diaspora, many of whom time home visits around it. Visitors are encouraged to follow official event and safety advisories throughout the celebrations.
