Saint Vincent Fishers and Tour Operators Tap OECS Blue-Economy Grants

Under the OECS’s World Bank-funded blue-economy programme, matching grants, technical training and improved access to finance are reaching micro and small enterprises in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — from fishers investing in climate-smart gear to tour operators shifting to lower-impact operations. The push pairs direct support with a regional fisheries action plan running to 2030. The aim is durable coastal livelihoods, not one-off aid.
